Born in 1990, Parisian based guitarist Lucas Montagnier starts music at the age of 6. After playing piano for a year and double bass for 3 years, he finally picked the guitar at the age of 14.

After graduating from "Le Cim" and conservatory of Versailles, Lucas Montagnier starts playing in bars and clubs around town. First, solo, playing and singing fingerstyle country and Ragtime then as a duet with Australian violin and player Heather Stewart ("The Dirty Ragtimers"/Country Blues/Ragtime/Hot Jazz). In addition to his bands The Rooftop barbershop (30's vocal swing trio), The Atomic Cocktail (50's Rhythm and Blues, rock N Roll, Rockabilly), Lucas Montagnier recorded with Chicago based Saxophone player Sam Burckhardt and "Amhell and her Backdoor men". He is regularly playing, as a leader or sideman, in Paris, France and Europe. He toured in Australia and the US.
